A total of 552,840 students enrolled in public and private educational institutions across the country participated. A significant increase was observed in the average global score compared to 2021, with improvements across the six evaluated knowledge areas, particularly in English performance. However, gaps persist based on socioeconomic level, region, sector, and gender. Despite an increase in the number of male students taking the test, the average score of female students rose more, narrowing the gender gap. Only a few Certified Territorial Entities (ETCs) showed a decrease in average scores, with the most growth seen in the Orinoqu\u00eda and Caribbean regions.
